Avika is a Ranchi based clothing brand that's bringing contemporary wear with work forms of an ethnic art form. hand dyed or hand painted or has worked with the zardozi art form...or has Madhubani art decorating and highlighting the soul of the design! Avika means "ray of hope" - and it brings a ray of hope to 700 rural women artisans in Jharkhand, it is an effort to bring some lovely creations - with the soul of rural India.
We wanted Avika to showcase what it actually is, ie "Ray of Hope" we tried adding a simple meaningful statement to their customers, we went forward to look for inspirations, one of which was the "nose" ring which is a form of jewellery wore by women often, we wanted to showcase women pride and attach it to Avika's rebranding. In the logo, we've a round element wrapped inside a round element. Showcasing the nose ring as the pride and the circle as "cirlce of hope".
